“Do you want to go to China?” – asked my husband of me when I was painting a wall in our house in California. “What? Are you serious?”- I asked him back. “I think it is too expensive for us right now! We have to finish repairing the house!” – I can’t get away. “No!” – Richard tells me, “Look at this price! Look at this trip! I think we should go! This is a great opportunity to see China!” It really was! Wow, $599 per person! What did this price include?
- Round trip from San Francisco to Beijing
- Two domestic flights in China
- Stops only in five-star hotels
- Excursions to the Great Wall of China, Silk factory, pearl exhibitions, Lingering garden
- Stop at the Green tea village
- Many of optional programs as: Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Terra Cotta Warriors Museum and many different things.
And all of that with a guide and a bus for 12 days! Well, he doesn’t have to ask me twice! Yes! Of course, yes! We are going to China!!!!
What could be more exciting and interesting than traveling to a new country? Perhaps only the preparations for that journey! What documents are needed? Do we need the visas? (I’m Russian and he an American) What is the weather like in spring in China? What sights to visit? Now, do you want to go to China?……
Okay, next post I’ll talk about preparations, the great sites and share pictures
