Visa….Visa??? Okay, let’s do this. For my Russian passport, I need a visa almost for every country in the world. For American passport – it is different story. US citizens can visit 175 of 251 countries in the world without a visa. Unfortunately, China is not one of them. For Americans need a visa as well. We always apply for a visa by ourselves (for my Russian passport). It is not complicated. Choose the nearest Embassy of the country where you are going to go, go to their website, read all the information carefully and fill out the application. We went to San Francisco, to Chinese Embassy. Yes, there it was a little noisy and crowded, probably like everywhere else in China, but the employees who accepted applications were attentive, kind and helpful. So, we got our visas, my husband got a visa for 10 years, I got a visa for one entry. We could now pack our bags!!!
